Remote Writer wanted for digital marketing agency | $45-$60 per hour

If so, we are looking for you! We are looking for a Content Writer to join our marketing team to deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Continuous learning and writing in the brand voice
• Write attention-grabbing and engagement-bosting captions for social media posts. Caption length will be a combination of short and long-form
• Write all content for email marketing campaigns
• Write captions and emails that connect deeply with the target audience and evoke them to take action
• Responsible for all copy associated with content created
• Proofread and edit all copy before publication
• Submit work to team managers for input and approval
• Coordinate with the marketing team to help them understand the brand voice as needed

You are Feminine, Powerful, Fun, and Creative! You're an experienced social media content writer of 2 years or more and are looking for a long-term role with a reputable marketing agency. You understand branding and are a self-starter. You are extremely detail-oriented, hate missing deadlines, and have a passion for writing.

You have 2+ years of experience working from home. You are dependable and reliable and know what it takes to be successful working remotely.

You are tech-savvy and know how to use email clients like Active Campaign, and Mailchimp and can learn new platforms quickly and without assistance. You are an avid social media consumer and have a deep understanding of how to write copy that evokes emotion and action.

You take pride in your work and have an entrepreneurial spirit. You are not afraid to speak up, offer suggestions and add value to the team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field
• At least 2 years working experience as a content writer
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• 2+ years of experience working from home in a remote position
• Intermediate level experience using email platforms like Active Campaign and Mailchimp
• Advanced knowledge of social media platforms
• Positive attitude
• Extremely Detail-oriented
• Fluency in English
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
• Portfolio of published content writing samples
• Experience writing email campaigns
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Ability to meet deadlines
