ROLE

EngagedMD eLearning content has millions of unique views nationwide and internationally, and continues to see enormous growth and adoption from medical clinics across multiple markets.

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Script Writer to produce finalized eLearning scripts for our in-house video team. This contracted Script Writer will collaborate with fertility nurses as well as subject matter experts to produce new and custom, medically accurate and engaging eLearning content. This individual will craft final scripts according to brand guidelines.

We are seeking a remote contract worker with the ability to ramp up from 10hrs up to 40hrs/week depending on business demand.

Note: EngagedMD is not able to sponsor current H1B visa holders for this position. This role requires legal authorization to work in the United States: US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or visa holder.

OUTCOMES AND KEY RESULTS

• Become a SME in Fertility eLearning
• Collaborate with R&D as well as Subject Matter Experts (SME) to produce engaging eLearning content.
• Receive and apply medical and patient feedback
• Ability to ramp up from 10hrs to 40hrs per week depending on business demand
• Craft final scripts according to brand guidelines and our approval process
• Work delivered on time and within budget

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the script writing and approval process
• Clearly document differences between script versions
• Collaborate with a team of animators/illustrators, project managers and SMEs
• Deliver exceptional eLearning scripts that are approved for video production

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of professional writing experience, especially with eLearning platforms and a preference for candidates who have worked in the fertility industry
• Portfolio of published work
• Proficient with collaboration tools such as Google Drive
• Excellent listening, grammar and writing skills
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Self-motivated and self-directed and a lifetime learner
• Open to change with the ability to give and receive critical feedback
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced tech environment with competing priorities
