COPYWRITER

Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing, the copywriter position will work alongside the marketing team to support with various writing assignments including: e-mail, website, social, printed and non-printed collateral. This position is highly cross-functional and must be comfortable and confident communicating with many different people and teams.

WHAT'S ON YOUR PLATE:

• Champions the brand’s vision and values and contribute to a culture of positivity and high standards where all employees CHASE perfection in everything they do
• Create an environment that is warm, welcoming and filled with positivity for guests and employees
• Uphold our standards at all times and treat everyone with courtesy and respect
• Help iterate and grow PLANTA’s tone of voice, ensuring voice is consistent across all touchpoints and concepts
• Lead the drafting and editing of long and short-form copywriting (social, e-mail, packaging, menus, website updates, etc.)
• Collaborate with many internal teams (marketing, culinary, people team, operations)

INGREDIENTS YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant writing experience
• Excellent writer and a stickler for perfect grammar
• Portfolio showcasing past work
• Understanding of what type of copy performs best across different marketing channels (Instagram, TikTok for social) as well as e-mail, website (shopify, PLANTA website), as well as PLANTA collateral including menus
• Able to identify opportunities to leverage latest trends in culture through copywriting
• Strong time-management skills and ability to work on multiple projects at once, often with tight deadlines
• Must be a collaborative team player with an interest in learning and listening to others
• Resourceful, creative, hardworking with a positive and light-hearted attitude
• 20-30 hours per week. $40 per hour.
