Pitches wanted (gender, media) | ~60 to 90 cents per word

I would love for writers to pitch me guest columns in our newsletter about gender and media I write/edit. I'm especially interested in hearing from trans journalists on ways gender intersects with their work and reporting.
Since I've taken over the newsletter, I've tried to be expansive in what I consider to be a "gender and media" story. That means power allocation. That means health. That means burnout, etc.
Pieces should be between 800-1200ish words. I love a reported piece with a personal angle but it can also be one or the other. Must be about media somehow. I can offer $750.
