The business of payment cards is booming. We’re looking for writers to explain it all. Can you explain current trends through engaging narratives for businesses and consumers? Have you written about the impact of these advances for B2B and B2C customers? If so, you might be our ideal writer.

If this sounds like you, and you have three-plus years of experience writing content about payment cards or related topics, we should talk. This contract position is for experienced content creators who know the payment cards business, for folks within the industry, or for consumers looking to understand the industry.

IMP-SF is a digital B2B and B2C marketing agency that works with world-class clients in technology and financial services. We are looking for individuals with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a detail-oriented, deadline-driven personality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand issues and trends in the consumer and payments card industry
• Conduct interviews with senior-level subject matter experts
• Write and review engaging articles and blogs ranging from consumer-oriented articles to thought leadership essays ranging from 500 to 1,200 words in length

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Three-plus years’ experience in business journalism or content creation in the payment cards industry
• Demonstrated writing, editorial, and project coordination expertise
• Knowledgeable of content marketing best practices
• Social media experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Creative, strategic thinker
