Catalyst Healthcare Consulting is looking for a high-energy, smart public policy, science or government major who is an excellent analytical writer and researcher with experience in FDA and drug, biologic, device and combination product regulation. Ideally, the person would be a soon to graduate/law student, senior scientist or someone who is already familiar and/or doing part-time work in the FDA regulation/public policy arena, and willing to devote up to 15-20 hours per week. This is a contractor position that is intended to be at least a year long. Hourly rate based on skill and experience.
THE RESEARCHER/WRITER/EDITOR WILL:
- Conduct research from a wide variety of web-based sources
- Write analytical memos for clients; and understanding of complex biology is a plus
- Review/proofread Catalyst written documents prior to sharing with external audiences like clients, articles being submitted to publications, and other documents
- Simply convey important scientific and public concepts though creative Powerpoints, horizon scans, graphics and charts
- Maintain and grow Catalyst’s social media footprint (website, twitter, online footprint)
