Copywriter wanted (SaaS) | $450 per landing page

Stack Against is looking for a remote copywriter with experience creating sales and conversion-oriented copy for B2B SaaS products.

You will use researching and writing skills to produce detailed comparison pages that highlight the differences between two products. You’ll help our clients achieve their growth goals by creating content that brings traffic to their sites, connects with their target audiences, and converts their ideal buyers into trial users.

We've created a process and training to help you understand how to write competitor comparison pages. Every time you finish one, the next should be easier to complete. You'll work along with a team in charge of lead generation, sales, research, editing, and design. You will fulfill the very important role of writing the actual copy — nothing else will distract you from this task.

Stack Against is a content creation company helping SaaS and e-commerce companies increase lead generation and sales through competitive marketing.

YOU'LL NEED TO:

• Have experience writing for SaaS (we'll ask for specific samples). If you don't know what SaaS is, that immediately should tell you you are not the right writer for the job, sorry.
• Have a conversion-oriented mindset — our main goal is to generate leads for our clients.
• Write in a witty, confident, casual tone.
• Know how to turn product disadvantages into selling points and competitors' advantages into shortcomings.
• Be detailed-oriented — we do things a certain way and expect you to learn (and follow) our processes.
• Meet your deadlines.
• [BIG PLUS] Know what a wireframe is and how to build one.

YOU'LL GET:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create engaging copy for a variety of different products.
• Follow the briefs provided to you to keep messaging on-brand.
• Challenge briefs as needed, based on your own views as a writer.
• Stay on trend with new SaaS products and industries.
• Perform and deliver under precise but reasonable deadlines.
• Edit or rewrite your copy to meet Senior Editors' expectations.

EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES:

• Excellent writing skills: persuasive writing, solid grammar, and impeccable spelling are a must.
• Fluent in English — are you a non-native? You're encouraged to apply if you can write fluent, conversational copy.
• Past experience with SaaS is a big, big plus. Shows us you understand the SaaS world.
• Basic understanding of organic search and search engine marketing.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative and positive team environment.
• A continuous learner that leaves their ego at the door.
• A collaborative team player who values the success of the whole team, in addition to their own success.
