Call for Submissions: Pitch your personal story to be featured in our next book - Gifted

We are searching for stories from all over the world recounting first-hand experiences and personal essays that reflect what makes you a true gift to this world. What unique gifts do you bring to this world that so few possess? What stories set you apart from others? What have you lived? What have you seen? What have you done that is so far from the ordinary? Are you an energy healer, sidewalk comedian, light-painter, professional cuddler, certified death doula, graffiti artist, cat whisperer, street performance rapper? We want to hear the unique, the weird, the wonderful. Nothing is off limits.

This is your opportunity to share your story with us, in the form of an informal pitch, to request a formal interview with a journalist who could share your story with the world in our next book.

SUBMISSION CRITERIA & GUIDELINES:

We accept submissions from individuals from any geography.

You must be at least 18+ to submit.

You must submit a short, 250-500 word pitch or a creative non-fiction story or personal essay, telling us about your unique gifts or talent, unheard of experiences, or eccentric profession (in the form of a Word document or PDF).

There is no submission fee.

Compensation: Each accepted submission (or pitch) will receive $250 USD as compensation for sharing their story and a copy of the book.

Rights: We reserve the right to interview, record and transcribe the story and edit it with the submitters approval in accordance with the rules of our style guide.

Deadline: The deadline for submissions is February 15, 2022.

Response Time: While we cannot guarantee responses for all submissions due to the volume of entries, we aim to respond to those we will accept for publication by March 15, 2022.
