I'm looking for BIPOC freelance reporters and op-Ed writers who are interested in covering the news in a way that centers our communities and other marginalized folks.
Prism pays $0.40/words (within two weeks of publication). Here's more info about us from our pitch page: https://prismreports.org/about/call-for-pitches/
I'm deeply interested in getting more coverage around education, housing, disability, climate change (esp. from Indigenous folks), reproductive rights + justice, unionization efforts/workers' rights, incarceration/abolition, and more.
I'm putting together a list of writers who are interested in working with us. Here's more about Prism (https://prismreports.org/about/) and if you'd like to contribute to our publication, please email me just to say hi, send me your portfolio + any pitch ideas if you want to start there.
