Remote CPG Copywriter wanted | $50-$75 per hour

Are you a master at creating compelling copy that drives consumers take action? Let’s talk! We’re looking for a talented CPG copywriter to join our team on a temporary basis to support the launch and promotion of our latest products.

ABOUT US:

We compete with the big air care brands offering safer, better, fresher alternatives. Fresh Wave products have been featured on Good Morning America, The View and LIVE with Kelly and Ryan.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Develop cross-channel messaging strategy to support product launches and campaigns.
• Create quick, helpful, fun, witty, on-brand messaging for various channels and mediums.
• Write snappy headlines and copy points that capture consumers attention and interest.
• Create product and advertising content for our DTC websites and Amazon presence.
• Develop engaging email copy that drives consumers to take action.
• Create and maintain editorial calendars to support content generation, cross-channel campaigns, product launches and marketing activities.
• Develop campaign/project briefs, including communication objectives, key message points and required assets.
• Collaborate with brand managers, creative services and ecommerce to define video photography requirements.
• Storyboard/write copy for video content.
• Work in collaboration with agencies to develop, post and optimize blog content.
• Write and edit copy for digital, print and packaging.
• Work with talented design, ecommerce and marketing teams to make concepts come to life.

YOUR CAPABILITIES AND BACKGROUND:

• Bachelors Degree in English, Communications, Marketing or related.
• 3-5 years relevant experience and a portfolio to match with an ability to create copy that’ll resonate with different target audiences and move consumers to take action.
• Strong understanding of email marketing best practices.
• Hands on experience using CMS and eCommerce systems to update content, including WordPress is a plus.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively cross-functionally. Strong collaboration skills.
• Expert written and verbal communication skills.
