Added 2023-06-13 07:06:05 +0000 UTCAfter finishing work on the shield, I realized that I was very close to burnout - it was a very voluminous job, as well as a certain amount of financial difficulties. Financial literacy is not my forte. Therefore, I did not have financial savings "for a rainy day."
But I took a couple of days off and am ready to start working on the next model.
I am also currently looking for additional orders just to pay the rent and taxes.
I'm not sure that you will be interested in reading about my failures and difficulties further, so expect the announcement of a new sword soon ^_^

2023-06-25 18:29:45 +0000 UTCIt's always good to hear for us patrons to hear how things are going, both good and bad. It's young, starting Patreon accounts and artists like yourself that truly require 'patrons' in the old sense of the word. Too often Patreons are 'limited access storefronts' nowadays (which is not necessarily a problem, I'm part of several like that myself). But that makes it extra special when being able to support an artist 'like in the old days', even if the artist is struggling sometimes.
