Motivation

For a long time I couldn’t figure out what to share with you today, so I’ll tell you about my recent insight.

Let me start with the fact that I have the ability to become very immersed in the work process. I already mentioned this somewhere, talking about how I forgot to eat and rest while working, but now everything is different thanks to the secret technique of working on a timer :)

Recently, in addition to this, I discovered that if I lose motivation to work, I need to come up with some kind of difficult task/step in the work. I realized this recently, when I was recovering from burnout, at that time the desire to make 3D models had already begun to return to me, the desire to work appeared. But there were moments in the work flow that required a routine approach, automatically learned actions that did not load the brain very much. And I realized that at such moments it is very difficult for me to regain motivation. I was already starting to get upset at the thought that I hadn’t recovered properly, everything seemed to be starting to get good, and then things got tough again.

But then a complex task appeared in the workflow, which required a lot of effort to solve. I couldn’t cope with it for a long time, tried different ways, got upset, then tried again, took a break and repeated. And finally solved this problem! And, you know what, my motivation returned :) It seems that this difficult task brought me a lot of dopamine, and I happily worked for the next few days using the resulting enthusiasm and inspiration.

This feeling is not like the usual satisfaction from completing a task, as it happens to all people. It seems to me that I have an addiction to such complex stages :D

After I noticed that such a situation had occurred, I began to remember and found many similar cases in my head, and every time such a thing happened, I worked with increased enthusiasm for several days.

I think that I will definitely use this regularly, I will come up with challenging tasks for myself in order to spur interest in work and do what I love with great passion. No matter how good or bad I feel, I always know for sure that I like what I do, so I am constantly looking for ways to engage myself even more in order to continue as long as possible and with pleasure make these beautiful 3D models that you like and I'm proud of it ^_^
