DeFi startup seeks content writer for user-facing informational blog posts on DeFi, crypto, and web3 technology and usage. Content will be fairly light and easily digestible by an audience of casual users and non-native English speakers. Posts will target roughly 250 to 500 words in length. See Binance Academy as an example of similar content.
Basic familiarity with web3, crypto, and DeFi is essential. English mastery and a penchant for fast, clean, clear writing is also essential. Deeper technical understanding of DeFi and its players (Uniswap, 1inch, Curve, Balancer) is strongly preferred, and/or an ability to quickly ingest and process information on new topics via web search.
Writer will be compensated as a 1099 contractor at a rate of $450 per article. This is an ongoing project, and the ideal content publication schedule is 2-4 articles per month once we have established a working relationship and content rhythm. Writer will have a fair amount of freedom in choosing topics for blog posts. Keyword-rich and highly searched subjects should be prioritized. Fully remote. Ability to work legally in the United States is required.
Startup will own exclusive rights to all written content, although the author is welcome to use them in his or her writing portfolio as well. If interested, please submit a resume and short cover letter along with a past informational writing sample (on any subject).
