Writers wanted for sports website (golf) | $125 per article
Added 2022-03-24 20:16:20 +0000 UTCCOMPANY/PUBLICATION: RUN YOUR POOL
We're a sports game website that focuses on sports pools โ think pick'em or survivor with friends and family. We've got a relatively large audience and a long creative leash. For now, we're looking for subject matter experts who can write preview and summary pieces for our PGA products โ The Masters prop bets pools, Majors pick'em, etc.
For posts, we're thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of 800 words, heavy on the editorial with a charming and friendly tone. No "stuffy golf" vibes here.
An ideal article will preview the golf competitions in the week ahead, and then make "picks" that could serve as a guide to our users for their respective pools.
The perfect fit for this position will have:
- At least three examples of golf-specific writing
- A willingness to pitch novel ideas and
- A willingness to promote their content in their own social circles.
For this ask, we'll be requiring a (small, paid $50 for your time) writing test as well, before any content will go live on our blog.
This position may well turn into a full time gig for the right writer. We will also pay more as time goes on.
