I'm looking for a new cybersecurity professional (student, recently graduated, or recently transitioned to cybersecurity from another field) to be a Producer/Writer contractor for our podcast. Below is the job description: Send you resume to apply.
JOB TITLE: WORD NOTES PRODUCER CONTRACTOR
Location: Anywhere, no travel
Terms: Contract per episode script ($120)
Salary/rate: ~$30 perspectives hour
Requirements: No special requirements
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Research and write the first draft scripts for the podcast. Each episode is usually under five minutes long. The Producer Contractor will get a credit at the end of the show.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Can write clear and simple sentences (avoid passive voice).
- Can explain complex technical things in a way that your grandma can understand.
- Has knowledge of popular nerd culture (movies, TV, games) and how they might relate to each episode.

The only real way to get better at this skill is to practice. That means regularly speaking and writing in order to perfect the craft. This job is an excellent training opportunity for a new cybersecurity professional either right out of college or training and/or transitioning into this new and exciting field. Not only will you learn about many of the strange terms associated with the field, but you get practice explaining what those terms mean to other security practitioners.
