2026-01-03 11:25:50 +0000 UTCThank you. Since I draw whatever character I'm in the mood for at the moment without any fixed plan, I'll end up drawing Makoto again sometime. I'm not exactly a master artist myself, but lately, while drawing, I've been thinking that if I don't already have the form clearly in my mind, even if I try to 'calculate' the shape using things like figure simplification or anatomy, it doesn't turn out well. I believe you can only draw it with your hand when you're able to imagine rotating the 3D form in your head. On the internet, you can find all sorts of tips for constructing forms, but I think even the people demonstrating those tips didn't complete their drawings purely through that construction or calculation — the form was already in their head, and they just used those construction aids to finish a great piece. I'm also working hard to be able to imagine the forms themselves from various angles in my mind. Let's grow together!
