Remote Copywriter wanted | $50 to $55 per hour

If you can craft creative headlines and express a brand's purpose with the same enthusiasm, timeliness, and quality with which you craft emails, blog posts, and social media content, we want to meet you.

We are a busy agency with the need for an on-demand copywriter to service a number of our clients. You will work with a team of strategists, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality work to clients across multiple verticals across project types.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Write collateral and copy for a variety of ongoing project needs for clients in verticals including (but not limited to): transportation and mobility, healthcare/wellness, lifestyle, CPG, hospitality, entertainment.
• Current needs include email marketing, social media, advertising (digital, print, OOH), marketing collateral, script writing for video content, internal business tools, brand guidelines, event materials/collateral etc.
• Work collaboratively with strategy and creative design team to solve for project needs
• Work independently while staying nimble to adjust for shifting workloads
• Develop an understanding of and own the voice of the brand to be able to execute effectively across arising asks
• Own your deliverable deadlines, requirements, and communication with the project team with the support of project managers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a content writer or copywriter – able to produce samples
• Ability to follow style guides to write in various client styles and voices
• Self-starter and strong communicator who needs minimal oversight
• Agile and disciplined with proven problem-solving abilities
• Ownership of proofing work and ensuring all requirements have been met on completed projects with a high level of polish
• Current understanding of AP Style and grammatical trends
• Deadline-focused and able to hit dates even with tight deadlines and/or moving targets
• Positive attitude, can-do outlook with the drive to roll up your sleeves, dive in, and get the work done to a high standard

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in writing for service industries, corporate entities and CPG
• Portfolio of previous work including samples for B2B and B2C audiences
• In-house or agency-side experience
• Curiosity and drive to grow and gain powerful new experience
