Remote Copywriter / Copyeditor wanted (cannabis, CBD) | $40 to $50 per hour

We need an excellent, creative, and motivated copywriter and copy editor to help us accomplish our mission of helping individuals make more informed purchasing, consumption, and treatment decisions on cannabis and CBD products with data, not reviews. We are a software, data and research company that collects real world evidence data on the use, performance and safety of specific cannabinoid based products. With the real world data we are collecting, we generate reports that provide transparency on the use and effectiveness of specific products. We need you to help us turn these data reports into fun, informative, and engaging articles for consumers.

We ARE NOT looking for your generic product review type articles. We are focused on data, not reviews. We are also product and brand agnostic. So we don’t ever want to come across as if we are forcing someone to purchase a product. We want to provide individuals with a better resource to make more informed decisions about products they are considering and/or interested in. If we are doing our job, the content that you create (generated from the data report we provide you) should help individuals spend less time and money in finding what works best for them.

The article length will vary on a regular basis. The shortest articles will be 500-750 words, the longest articles will be 2,000-2,250 words. This is something that we will decide with you on an article by article basis, largely dictated by the data report.

If you are interested in this job we will provide you with a rough draft of an article that we created based on one of our data reports. We will provide you with that draft and ask you to edit it into what you feel is a post ready article. We will also provide you with the data report used to initially generate the first draft. You won’t need to do anything with the data report, we just want to allow you to see what a report looks like and how that was used to create a draft article.
