I'm looking for a road trip expert/travel writer to create multiple road trip routes based out of Seattle, Washington. We are a UK-based award-winning travel technology company dedicated to delivering curated road trips to millions of eager travelers.
I am managing road trip content creation in the US and have already hired writers in several other US cities. I am seeking a Seattle-based or knowledgeable writer to create five 1-day routes, four 2-day routes, three 3-day routes, and one 4-day route for $1975. These routes must be completed by June 26.
- Each route day needs 5-7 points of interest of 50-100 words each (so four-day routes will contain 20-28 POIs). You should have firsthand knowledge of every stop you write about. You can see what we’re looking for as far as quality, completed routes here and here.
- You will build your own routes within the site. This requires you to create a profile and pull points of interest in through the CMS, then write their descriptions. We also ask you to share a link to images for each route day’s cover photo (we will share preferred image sites such as Unsplash with you), which we will download at a later time.
- This assignment requires Slack communication with your editors.
