Looking for poetic script writer/editor (think Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown)
We are looking for a writer who can help create, collaborate on, and edit scripts for a docu-series. The series will be similar in style to Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown with voice-overs that help tell the story in a poetic manner.
In addition, to support the series, we are looking to develop several video essays, approximately 2 minutes in length = 300-350 words). The essays will incorporate video and music and offer insight or inspiration. Similar to CBS Sunday Morning Commentaries (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/john-dickerson-on-zelenskys-leadership-and-on-making-courage-contagious/) where the end grabs you by the heart — or the throat — causing you to think or take your breath away. The writer will be provided with subjects that have been outlined and researched, but not written.
