Script Writers wanted for news site (explainer videos) | ~$5,000 for 6 episodes

Any talented script writers out there? Looking for a writer and journalist to craft the scripts of 6-minute explainer videos for a well-known news site. The project will run from July for a few months, and will be both remote and freelance/part time.
Email me. It's for a presenter-led segment by Earthrise that will be nested in a larger show on climate change solutions by a well-known US news org. It's 12 episodes in total.
Open to international candidates, but they will be coordinating with a team based in London so time difference is a factor. Ideally someone who has written specifically for explainer videos (think Vox style videos). Someone with a strong editorial eye and great writing.
Budget will be roughly £4000 for 6 episodes but it's not set in stone.
