ABOUT YOU:
- With that in mind, we’re looking specifically for writers who fit one or more of the below:Have a health or medical background, proven by credentials (e.g. PharmD, LPN, RN, MPH)
- Are medical journalists with proven experience writing for a consumer audience
- Have experience and/or are comfortable covering public health issues You must be authorized to work in the US.
- We require research and primary sources, like journals, but interviews are not required.
We are actively recruiting PharmD writers to cover pharmaceutical drugs.
Owned by Dotdash Meredith, Health.com has a traditional freelance model that pays writers to create content on their own schedule without limiting their ability to work on other projects.
As a writer for Health.com, you should be able to navigate complicated topics and present them in a way that is understandable for a lay audience while providing actionable next steps for all levels.
