I'm Jack, and I make 15-20 minute, podcast/documentary-style videos covering true crime cases. Some notes about the job:
WE CURRENTLY HAVE A TEAM OF:
- 4 editors
- 2 designers
- 1 operations manager
- 1 researcher
Pay:- $0.25 cents per word
LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- can research true crime cases and can regularly trawl reddit, youtube, tiktok, instagram, and news sources for new content opportunities
- is proactive about cracking internal bottlenecks with the writing process and video creation procedure as a whole
- is entrepreneurial-minded (a writer on a yt channel like this is practically a co-founder and has DIRECT creative and business freedom)
- write and self-edit one to two 4,000-word scripts weekly
- can source creative assets (photos/broll) and provide them to the editing team
Most importantly, I'm looking for someone who can write in MY voice and is passionate about making complicated topics easy to understand & optimized for social media storytelling
