I'm thrilled to announce that I've joined the newspaper as the new Digital Editor. I'm so excited about this new opportunity to be doing non-profit journalism and about joining such a historic publication. We're always open to freelance pitches. Hit me up. Stories would need to have a strong Texas hook and its central focus on events/issues relating to the state. Our basic freelance rate is 50 cents a word for articles we publish on our website.
