The Perfectly Planned Content Team is ready to hire a contract writer for our growing content department. We are looking for someone passionate about creating original, engaging, and authentic content for our financial clients.

The ideal writer will have experience in the financial industry and won’t shy away from blog posts written about taxes, stock options, and investment strategies! This writer should be comfortable translating complex financial topics for a general audience, while also making articles digestible, accessible, and fun for readers.

At Perfectly Planned Content, our writing philosophy is built on stories. Stories give us the tools to form genuine connections, inspiring each piece of content we create. This ultimately informs our goal to turn an audience into lifelong clients.

QUALIFICATIONS/JOB DESCRIPTION:

Writing

• Create 2-8 original articles per month
• Applied technical writing skills in the financial industry
• Demonstrated history of working with and/or writing for online mediums
• Ability to conduct and properly use outside research in articles
• Incorporate edits based on client feedback

Marketing

• Comfortable writing for multiple brands
• Tailor content for different audiences
• Adapt tone and style according to client needs and preferences

Communication

• Responsive to emails
• Ask questions and clarification when needed
• Effective time management

RATE AND PAY

The PPC team compensates contract/freelance writers at a rate ranging from $0.10-$0.18/word. We develop project rates and pay writer invoices monthly for ongoing contract work.
