As an independent, nonprofit newsroom led by journalists of color, we tell stories from the ground up: to disrupt harmful narratives, and to inform movements for justice. Our coverage deeply explores issues of racial justice, mass incarceration and policing, workers’ rights, gender justice, electoral justice, and the climate emergency. Currently, Prism is covering these topics as they relate to the U.S. and U.S. territories.
