This is a unique role and the need is for someone who has comprehensive knowledge and experience with OPM classification guidelines, defining duties and skills aligned to specific grade levels in consultation with managers/experts, and writing PDs. This involves job analysis and engaging with stakeholders.
We are looking to add a PD Writer to write Positions Descriptions and Job Analyses.
THE CANDIDATE WOULD:
- Develop thorough positions descriptions (PDs) for all areas in consultation with managers
- Develop job analyses (JAs) for each PD to ensure that vacancy announcements can be easily posted for all positions
- Work closely with the Office of People Operations, Workforce Strategy staff, to understand organizational changes, hiring needs and other human capital-related issues that might impact future job announcements and the need to create or revise PDs and JAs.
- Participate in organizational planning and development
