I’m working on a special editorial package and am looking for pitches from US/Canada-based Indigenous writers on birth, parenting and caregiving.
A few topics I’d love to feature:
- Indigenous midwifery & birth work
- Passing on language & traditions to the next generation
- Raising kids in multigenerational/extended families
- Parenting in remote/Northern communities
- Keeping families together & the importance of #IWCA
Photo essays, personal essays, interviews, reported story ideas are welcome.
