JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our well-known Tech client is seeking an experienced UX Writer / Content Designer to join their team for a long-term contract.
This is a fully remote role and candidates can be based anywhere in the US.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Workshop copy and get feedback from team of content designers
- Shape content strategy and write copy for onboarding flows, feature and product taxonomy, prompts, banners, and confirmations
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and write copy that helps customers understand, use, and enjoy the product
- Collaborate with product designers, researchers, and product managers to draft, test, refine, and launch products
- Collaborate with product marketers and other partners to align messaging
REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of professional writing experience
- 2+ years of in-product writing experience (UI, settings, tooltips, etc.)
- 1+ years of in-product writing experience for mobile products
- Experience using a friendly, approachable tone
- An ability to follow and update copy guidelines
- A passion for consistency and tracking what’s working
- A writing portfolio
