Botany is a fascinating branch of biology, but it's also one that many people encounter very briefly, if at all. We're looking for a writer who can help learners better understand the plants in their lives, and make connections that deepen their scientific literacy more broadly.
At Complexly, we make videos that help our audiences develop a nuanced and complex view of the world around us. Crash Course, one of our most renowned channels, invites students, teachers, and lifelong learners to understand subjects they might have had trouble with or are curious to comprehend more.
As a freelance script writer, you'll be asked to work with a consultant and editor to write 10-15 episodes for our Botany series. Every script you write should be accurate and engaging for our audience. We're looking for someone with a background in botany, biology, and/or science communication. Ideally, you have a passion for STEM and want to share excitement over the subject with a broad audience.
