Have you ever wondered why people think, act, and feel the way they do? Do you ever think of the impact our past experiences have on who we are today? Psychology allows us to answer these questions and more while giving us insight on how to better understand others and ourselves.

At Complexly, we make videos that help our audiences develop a nuanced and complex view of the world around us. In partnership with Arizona State University, Crash Course, and YouTube, we're creating a 30-episode introduction to psychology course to cover everything from the historical roots of psychology and different concepts and processes that explain human behavior to how it's applied in real world situations and influences our relationships and treatment of abnormal behaviors.

As our freelance writer, you will be responsible for researching and writing scripts on pre-selected psychology topics, working closely with other team members and subject-matter experts to develop comprehensive and consistent scripts. Our partners at ASU and our script editor will give you feedback to refine your work until it's ready for production. Come prepared to collaborate with others effectively and respectfully.
