Scott Morris, Editor at Vallejo Sun, is looking for writers:
We are looking for arts freelancers in the Vallejo, CA area or wider Bay Area, hopefully with some experience writing arts and culture stories but it's not strictly necessary. Writers will do event previews and short interviews. We are looking for articles in the 500 to 1,000-word range. Send pitches and inquiries to editor@vallejosun.com.

ABOUT THE VALLEJO SUN: The Vallejo Sun is an independent news publication illuminating Solano County, California. It was founded in 2021 by journalists John Glidden, Brian Krans, and Scott Morris, who saw a need for in-depth reporting about local government, policing, and extremist movements in the region. The Vallejo Sun is currently hosted by Ghost, a nonprofit publishing platform, and is a member of Outpost, a California cooperative venture to support independent publishing.
