Journalist wanted (celebrity, entertainment, pop culture) | $200 per article

COMPANY/PUBLICATION: HOLLYWOOD LIFE

HollywoodLife is looking for extra writing support from freelancers that have strong writing skills and impeccable journalistic standards. We’re specifically looking for contributors who can research and write celebrity, entertainment and pop culture-related long form profiles and Evergreen service pieces. Typically, freelance writers will submit 2-3 articles x week, ranging from pre-planned service content timed to our editorial content to SEO-strategic Evergreen coverage. This position will be assignment-based. We are not accepting pitches at this time.

This position is remotely based and pays $200 per completed article.

Looking for 2+ years of experience in celebrity news reporting and writing for a digital format.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A passion for celebrity and entertainment news
• Minimum 2+ years experience in celebrity news reporting for a competitive, high-volume, news-driven website
• Solid research skills
• Ability to work on a deadline
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices, a plus
