Hello friends and colleagues! We are seeking tech commerce writers who have a strong nose for consumer electronics and gadgets to contribute on an ongoing, contract/freelance basis. New article rates range upwards of $500, plus you can earn up to $100 per hour during big shopping events like Black Friday and Amazon Prime Day.
We're prioritizing candidates who have direct commerce writing experience within the niche — especially with regards to product evaluation — but we're willing to bring anyone along with strong writing skills. If you don't think you're a fit, reach out anyway and we'll figure that out together!
You'd be working directly with me on content such as product reviews, tested best lists, gift guides, roundups, news stories, comparisons, and more. Here are the different areas of expertise we're looking to cover:
- Smart Home & Networking (home security cameras, smart doorbells, routers and more)
- Computers (laptops, desktops, components and peripherals)
- Gaming (consoles, handhelds, VR)
- Home Theater (TVs, soundbars, projectors, speakers, A/V receivers)
- Audio (headphones, earbuds, Bluetooth speakers)
- Smartphones and Tablets (and associated accessories)
- Home Office (webcams, printers, WFH tech)
- Cameras (Mirrorless, point-and-shoot, action cameras)
- Wearables (fitness trackers, smart glasses)
