COMPANY/PUBLICATION: LIQUID AND GRIT

As a writer, you’ll work with a team of editors and analysts to tear down mobile game releases, provide game design analysis, and examine market trends. Your work will be published in reports that go out to thousands of subscribers from the biggest game developers in the world.

Writing at Liquid and Grit is hard. It requires a unique combination of technical chops, creative insights, and conversational style. But for the right candidate, it’s an amazing position. If you like having autonomy, setting your own schedule, and putting out great products, you might like working with us.

This is a remote contract position for consistent, ongoing work: 20–25 hours per week at $40 per hour. The more versatile your skills, the more work we’ll be able to give you.

ABOUT LIQUID AND GRIT:

Liquid and Grit provides analysis for leading mobile game developers. We break down popular apps like AFK Arena, Candy Crush Saga, and Slotomania to see what makes them work and help make them even better. We are located in California but have an entirely remote workforce.

We are a unique company that hires almost exclusively based on tests. This allows us to find the most talented candidates regardless of education or experience. If you pass the test, you’ll get hired for a trial period at the full rate of $40 per hour.
