I'm looking for pitches connected to the upcoming holiday season. Housekeeping: pieces should be no longer than 1200 words at a rate of $250. Because of my budget and the number of pieces needed, I can't shift it for these—keeping reading!

First topic: What is the importance of creating new holiday traditions and how can we foster them? I'm looking to talk about folks in new situations. New parents (especially through adoption or fostering), new couples, blended families, etc.

Second topic: I'm looking for someone who has figured out how to have a stress-free December by planning and shopping ahead of time. Give me your game plan and the timeline.

Third: How to thrive during the holiday season with your chosen family. I'm looking for a Queer writer to discuss the process of grief and acceptance and give tips around embracing folks in your inner circle that may not be blood related, and the varied ways this can look.
