Writer wanted for memoir | 18+ cents per word

Writer needed for short story memoir.
Looking for a someone to write a small collection of a few stories my parents have. Dad is American, mother is South Vietnamese. They met during the Vietnam war when dad was a DOD contractor. Her family fought along side the US, her uncle was KIA and her father placed in a re-education camp when taken prisoner by the North Vietnamese.
They fled South Vietnam to Lybia just days before Saigon was overran by the North Vietnamese and were separated in Lybia but reunited then finally married. They later experienced the Civil uprising in Iran when the US embassy was taken and fled from there traveling the world before finally making it to the US.
My folks are older so you would need to be able to travel to South Carolina to meet with them at least once. Message me if interested. Rate is negotiable but currently at $0.18 word or $20 per hour because I have to put a rate in here per the rules.
Edit: Travel expenses are paid for.
