ABOUT YOU:

With that in mind, we’re looking specifically for writers who fit one or more of the below:

• Have a health or medical background, proven by credentials (e.g. PharmD, LPN, RN, MPH)
• Are medical journalists with proven experience writing for a consumer audience
• Have experience and / or are comfortable covering public health issues
• You must be authorized to work in the US.
• We require research and primary sources, like journals, but interviews are not required.

We are actively recruiting PharmD writers to cover pharmaceutical drugs. Owned by Dotdash Meredith, Health.com has a traditional freelance model that pays writers to create content on their own schedule without limiting their ability to work on other projects.

As a writer for Health.com, you should be able to navigate complicated topics and present them in a way that is understandable for a lay audience while providing actionable next steps for all levels. In your application, please share your relevant credentials as well as links to previous content you’ve written related to your particular topics of interest.
