• JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)
• LOCATION: Remote North America (TimeZone: PST/CIST | Partial overlap)
• HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $70 to $90 per hour
• ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h per week. Long-term.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This role can be onsite at our Newport Beach, CA office or remote.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU MAY:

• Write and edit communications, marketing, and storytelling assets
• Write and edit copy in a variety of formats including digital product guides, online campaigns, and webpages
• Design and run marketing campaigns
• Support the development and delivery of weekly employee newsletters
• Edit and proof marketing assets to ensure high editorial standards are met
• Collaborate with marketing and compliance teams when assessing project needs to help with messaging
• Support multiple teams with varying brand guidelines, ensuring each team has consistency across their respective content.
• Create website and presentation layouts and imagery
• Build and design digital and print assets
• Build storytelling and presentation materials

WHAT IT TAKES:

• A bachelor’s degree or related experience
• 3-5 years of design or content creation experience
• 3-5 years of marketing and digital marketing experience
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to take complex subject matter and distill it into easy-to-understand language
• Master storyteller
• Superior interpersonal and team-building communication skills
• The ability to navigate complex projects with multiple impacted teams and divisions
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus
• Prefer experience in internal innovation and/or start-ups
• Experience in the financial services industry with insurance experience a plus
• Comfortable working in Adobe, Figma, or similar design suite
• The ability to present and inform senior leaders and others
• Strong presentation skills
