From our phones in our pockets to our computers in our homes, schools, and offices, we are in constant contact with technology. We may know how to use a web browser and apps that come in our devices, but what if you could learn programming basics to make the most out of your devices and in turn make lives betters?

At Complexly, we make videos that help our audiences develop a nuanced and complex view of the world around us. In partnership with Arizona State University, Crash Course, and YouTube, we're creating a 30-episode Principles of Programming course to help students master everything from understanding the operation and capabilities of computers to writing basic programs using modern programming languages with no prior experience required.

As our freelance writer, you will be responsible for researching and writing scripts on pre-selected Programming topics, working closely with other team members and subject-matter experts to develop comprehensive, consistent, and engaging scripts. Our partners at ASU and our script editor will give you feedback to refine your work until it's ready for production. Come prepared to collaborate with others effectively and respectfully. Technology continues to grow everyday and this course aims to take a first step into helping students better understand and control the devices that surround us, a skill that is becoming ever more critical in our current world.
