ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an OB/GYN contributor on a part-time contract basis averaging between 5 and 10 hours per month.

The contributor would be a board-certified OB/GYN. You would be responsible for writing pregnancy-related content on an as-needed basis and assisting with the medical review of relevant content written by others, further ensuring the accuracy of our evidence-based guidance. You will also ensure that our content is of the highest quality in relation to care and meets the latest standards in the healthcare industry.

Our content is written by pediatric experts, including sleep consultants, IBCLC lactation consultants, registered dietitians, child psychologists, and more. It is peer-reviewed by fellow professionals in the related topic of interest

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Write blog articles that guide readers on various topics of pregnancy
• Ensure content is well-researched, easily digestible, and meets Huckleberry style guidelines
• Verify the clinical accuracy of pregnancy-related content: articles, images, and products
• Audit and fact-check evidence-based pregnancy guidance to ensure it is up-to-date with the latest standards in quality care and supported by research citations
• Clear communication with content lead and/or other contributors when edits are required

REQUIREMENTS

• Board Certified OB/GYN
• Experience writing web content
• Experience reviewing medical literature
• Familiar with Google docs; project management software tools
• Willingness to effectively cite check and reference articles

NICE TO HAVE

• Pediatric experience and expertise helpful
• Basic understanding of SEO

COMPENSATION

This role encompasses both medical literature review and content creation, we offer the following compensation:

• Content Creation: $150 - $250 per article
• Medical Review: $50 - $100 per hour
