Starlight Williams, Editor at Nat Geo Travel, is looking for pitches:
I am looking for amazing adventures. Epic experiences. Heritage highlights, etc. Include Hed/dek, lede, nutgraph, and clips in pitch. Please no profiles/ listicles/ travelogues/ hyperlocal content. Email starlight.williams@natgeo.com. 1000-1200 word count/$1000 to $1200.
Emphasis on the NO profiles/listicles/travelogues/hyperlocal content. I am looking for more reported stories rather than first-person narratives/essays (not to say those aren't cool...just not what I need.)
