Hey, journalists: Send me web pitches for Comstock's magazine. We cover business, trend stories and quality of life in the 10 counties around Sacramento. Submission guidelines here: https://www.comstocksmag.com/submission-guidelines

Business includes arts and culture, music, food, agriculture, the environment and a lot more. If you can put a price on it, we cover it.

Web stories range from $200-$300 depending on complexity. We usually try out writers with web stories before assigning them print features.

CONFIDENTIAL NOTE: Reports indicate that Comstock pays at least 50 cents per word for print stories. It is recommended that you discuss the rate(s) with the editor prior to commencing work.
