Remote Copywriter wanted | $40 to $55 per hour

Ragnarok is a rapidly-expanding full-service agency with teams in NYC, LA, and Austin, as well as team members based around the US. As a marketing + dev agency rolled into one, we bridge the gap between creative, marketing, and technology. We specialize in cross-channel content strategy, creation, and distribution (email, paid social, push, SMS, web, video) and MarTech implementations. We work with 50+ clients, ranging in size from companies like YETI, Upside, and Nutrafol to established marquee brands like A+E Networks, Afterpay, and Stanley Black & Decker.

To help us handle our increasing workload, we are looking to bring on an experienced Freelance Copywriter.

The ideal candidate is someone who has brand or agency experience writing copy for brand guidelines, internal communications, original content for technical process projects, and business to business sales. Candidates with experience in tourism, hotel, travel, or hospitality industries will be given extra consideration.

Responsibilities:

• Produce copy based on online and interview research
• Plan, develop, and deliver documentation (manuals, work procedures, policy documents, etc.)
• Incorporate client feedback into revisions
• Assisting in the conception of new campaigns
• Writing briefs to guide design and development

Minimum requirements to be considered:

• 3-5 years experience writing brand, internal communications, sales communications, and B2B content that's clear, and concise.
• Strong understanding of visual communication.
• Able to adapt and develop brand voice
• Excellent copy editing skills to ensure it's free of errors and that it adheres to brand guidelines
• Portfolio must include brand guides, process manuals, internal communications, and B2B communication. Samples from clients in hospitality, travel, or an experiential brand major plus.
• Can interpret a brief and provide multiple options for creative execution
• Thrives off of collaboration
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to simplify topics for business audiences

The ideal candidate:

• Excellent conceptual comprehension
• Understanding of B2B sales scenarios
• Experience in tourism, hotel, travel, or hospitality industries.
• Has the ability to simplify complex concepts with relatable communication
• Has experience quality checking and proofing creative
