Seeking a Content Writer to join our growing team! The role will be responsible for creating and executing an innovative content marketing strategy that will grow awareness, capture and nurture leads and customers, and engage and retain customers across all platfrorms!
Location: Remote Flexiblity
Pay: 55-60$/hour
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Surgent’s Content Marketing team to craft interesting, well-researched and factually correct content to drive traffic, engage and convert target customers, and improve shared content used across email, social media and other marketing channels; content to include white papers, blog posts, website copy and other content as needed.
- Research industry-related topics so content contains timely and accurate information.
- Complete writing projects and assignments according to specifications provided
- Create web content that is search engine optimized.
- Regularly meet deadlines for assigned projects.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High learning agility and intellectual curiosity.
- Expertise in writing and all forms of communication (web content, emails, presentations, etc.) for internal and external audiences.
- Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word.
- Strong research skills.
- Good understanding of SEO.
- Understanding of AP Style.
