I’m now parenting editor at Yahoo Life, and am looking to work with freelance writers who specialize in parenting reporting.

Along with expert explainers, I’d like to see first-person essays and reporting covering a range of diverse perspectives (families in marginalized communities, single/solo parents, disabled parents, foster parents, etc.).

Please understand that I may not be able to respond to every pitch. If it's been a week and you haven't heard back, give me a nudge. After that, it's safe to say the piece is not a fit or we may already have that topic covered or in the works.

Finally: Due to my Sunday to Thursday work schedule, the best days to pitch are Monday-midday Thursday.
