Gabriela Riccardi, Deputy Editor at Quartz at Work, is looking for pitches:

Quartz at Work is looking for service-first reported pieces on navigating the modern workplace. We're open to a wide range of topics and especially interested in stories on mental health and well-being in the workplace.

The rate is $0.50 USD per word.

Send pitches and 2-3 links to work samples to griccardi@qz.com with "Pitch" in your subject line. I would also take reported but not published pieces, like student work.

Open to all kinds of writers, encouraging new writers. Would just like to see demonstration of reported work, not personal essays or commentary. Please mention if you're a member of an underrepresented group, I would like to know that (I'm tracking my hires). Open to international writers.
