THE ROLE

This is a part-time position for blog writers who want to develop a strong profile in nonprofit and nonprofit-tech writing. As a writer at Donorbox, you will be working with the SEO and content team to create articles, guides, templates, and other resources for nonprofits. If you are passionate about writing and social good or have worked in nonprofits before, you are a natural fit for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Researching assigned topics in depth to create original content.
• Writing actionable and insightful articles on fundraising, donor management, nonprofit management and growth, financial requirements, tips and ideas, and more.
• Get handy with the Donorbox tool and be able to promote it through your blogs.
• Deliver 4 articles each week and stay on top of the publishing schedule.
• Working with the in-house editing and SEO team to develop SEO-driven content.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in writing blogs related to the nonprofit sector.
• Prior experience working with nonprofits will help with this role.
• Keen understanding of nonprofit jargon and various aspects of nonprofit management and fundraising.
• SEO writing, following SEO guidelines provided by the team

• U.S. based applicants only
• Rate of pay: starting at $0.10 per word, depending on experience
