DESCRIPTION:

The Content Writer will be responsible for crafting child-friendly definitions for select vocabulary words that will be embedded in Amplify Reading, a game-based digital elementary literacy supplemental reading curriculum. The writer will be expected to write deadline driven content as advised by subject matter authorities who will provide an outline and substantive briefing on content and objectives.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for writing approximately 60 context-specific child-friendly definitions to support student learning in an Amplify Reading comprehension game. Create approximately 60 context-specific child-friendly definitions to support student learning in grades 3-5.
Revise content based on feedback and advice with regards to reading level alignment and targeted student population.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years of narrative writing and/or curriculum content experience for early readers
• Advanced English language proficiency and writing skills
• Proficiency with Google suite (Google Drive, GDocs, Google Sheets, etc)

COMPENSATION:

The hourly rate range for this role is $45.00-$55.00.
