Kristin Davis, Reflections Editor at The War Horse, is looking for pitches:

Hey all—we're heading into a new year, which means new reflections at The War Horse News. We're taking essays from vets, service members, family members, and people who have worked closely with those communities.

Rate: $300 for a 1,000- to 1,500-word essay. These aren't editorials or op-eds—these are stories about where you've been and what you've experienced. Send ideas to kristin.davis@thewarhorse.org.

(We're a safe place for beginning writers, and Kristin's great about going back-and-forth to bring a piece to life.)
